Résumé

I'm Amir Hormozi, a product engineer with 8+ years between iOS engineering and product management. Today I'm Senior iOS Developer and CTO at Taskpin (Australia); before that I worked on an iOS app used by 43M+ people at Snapp, and I build my own products from scratch in Rust, Swift, Flutter and Svelte.

Senior iOS Developer & CTO
  • Two hats at once: technical owner of the iOS app and head of the engineering team (CTO).
  • Rebuilt the product from a legacy codebase into SwiftUI: a clean, modular codebase ready for fast iteration.
  • Redesigned the UI around Apple's latest Human Interface Guidelines, with a step change in performance and user experience.
  • Built the map experience on Mapbox and real-time socket communication for job scheduling and tracking.
  • Introduced agentic development: wrote custom roles and skills for AI agents, wired tools in through MCP, and used Graphify to raise their accuracy and performance on the codebase.
  • Built the company's own internal tools and bots to automate repetitive team work and connect internal services.
  • Lead the engineering team as CTO with a focus on delivery cadence: prioritisation, unblocking and a standard release path.
  • Partner closely with the product team, turning user needs into executable technical specs, the same muscle built over years as a Technical Product Owner.

Golnix

AI Engineer / Technical Product Manager
  • Lead AI-assisted feature delivery, using agentic workflows to speed up prototyping and automate repetitive engineering.
  • Turn ambiguous requirements into precise technical specs (Spec-Driven Development) that direct both engineers and AI agents.
  • Architect and ship Flutter features with clean API contracts, balancing tech-debt reduction against a fast release cadence.
  • Run MVP/MMP validation loops that turn customer feedback into prioritised, shippable iterations.
  • Since March 2026 I continue with the team as a product advisor (product manager).

Snapp!

43M+ users
iOS Developer
  • Built reusable core modules shared between the Passenger and Driver apps, controlled by feature flags.
  • Implemented VIP architecture with the Mediator pattern and Dependency Inversion for decoupled modules.
  • Kept the app stable for 43M+ users by fixing critical edge-case bugs and reducing crash rates.
  • Engineered a central library of custom UI components to enforce design-system consistency.
  • Migrated and refactored legacy components into a modern architecture with zero user-facing impact.
Sep 2018 – Oct 2023
On-site

Part Software Group

Senior iOS Developer & Technical Product Owner
  • Integrated the Vision framework for secure face recognition and seamless client authentication.
  • Implemented VIPER/MVVM and optimised persistence with Core Data, Realm and GRDB.
  • Delivered several iOS apps from scratch in Agile/Scrum teams, backed by unit tests.
  • Mentored junior developers and co-led Part College training courses.
  • As Technical Product Owner: managed the Jira backlog, turned business goals into user stories and specs, and aligned teams to ship on time.
Sep 2017 – Aug 2018

Novin Pardazesh Namira

Senior iOS Developer
  • Built foundational iOS features in Swift with MVC architecture.
